Presider:  With the Lord there is mercy and plentiful redemption. With one voice, with one heart may we now address the needs of our parish, our country, and the needs for peace and reform in our world

1.  We ask, O Lord, the Spirit will give courage, transparency, and openness to Pope Leo, bishop _____, all bishops and clergy, we pray...

2. We ask, Lord, to give each of us courage to stand up for social justice for the poor, the disenfranchised, the orphans, widows, and the incarcerated, we pray...

3. We ask, Lord, that we will look for your presence in others, in nature, and in the ministries of clergy and religious, we pray...

4. We ask, Lord, that we be aware of those suffering from domestic violence, sexual abuse, and victims of scam, we pray...

5. We ask, Lord, that Church Members repent of racism, classism, wealth and power deference, and gender discrimination, we pray...

6. We ask, Lord, that our parish respect and support first responders, police, judges, and lawyers as they protect and support our communities with order and justice, we pray...

7. We ask, Lord, for  loving relationships, security, living wages, and spiritual growth for every member of our family, we pray...

8. That those who died this week (list here) and those approaching death’s door are supported by faith and sacrament. That the intention of this Mass, (list here) ____is (are) are offered to you, Lord, we pray...

9. Let us petition God for our personal needs and for guidance in resolving concerns of hand, mind, and heart: (pause) Let us place these intentions on the altar with the financial gifts we offer for the ministries of our community, we pray...

Presider: Father, Creator and Sustainer, imprint the words of your Son, our Lord, in our hearts. May the passion of Jesus to set the world ablaze with divine love inspire us. Send you Spirit to recreate our lives into furnaces of love for your creation and for humanity created in your image and likeness. We ask this in the name of your Son who lives with you in the unity of the Spirit, now and forever.

Response: Amen.
