PRAYERS OF THE FAITHFUL

THIRTIETH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

1.          To the LORD who hears every cry, we pray that as the body of Christ we may care for the alien, the widow and the orphan in our midst...we pray to the Lord...

2.          To the LORD who hears every cry, we pray for God’s help in our efforts to lend a hand to our neighbor who may be suffering a financial setback, burden or lack...we pray to the Lord...

3.          To the LORD who hears every cry, we pray for the grace to extend God’s compassion towards those whose minds are troubled...we pray to the Lord...

4.          To the LORD who hears every cry, we pray that God provide in our time models of faith and love like Jesus, Paul, Silvanus and Timothy for us to imitate in service of the kingdom...we pray to the Lord...

5.          To the LORD who hears every cry, we pray that the law of love be paramount in our relationship to God, to each other and among nations...we pray to the Lord...

6.          To the LORD who hears every cry, we pray that the law of love extends to our care for our earthly home...we pray to the Lord...

7.          To the LORD who hears every cry, we pray for the grace to love ourselves as God loves us so that we recognize God and ourselves in others and care for them accordingly...we pray to the Lord...
