Celebrant: Trusting in God, we pray…

Deacon/Reader:

For Pope Leo, and for Bishop Luis, that they may strengthen us in faith to be more fully, imitators of Christ, by bringing healing to division and the ways of hope to those with very little, we pray to the Lord…

That ours may be a voice for all those in need, the marginalized, those unborn, the aged, the hungry, and all who are the most vulnerable, we pray to the Lord…

For those in our OCIA process, our Candidates for Full Communion and those who are Elect, that their walk of faith may conform them to Christ and make their hearts ready to receive Him, we pray to the Lord…

For those living in the midst of war and terrorism, that hearts consumed with hatred and the culture of death may be turned to paths of peace, especially in the Middle East, Ukraine, Russia and here at home; and for all our First Responders, our military, as they serve the gift of freedom, we pray to the Lord…

For our personal needs and all our concerns of mind and heart, which we offer to God in a moment of silence…(pause)… we place these now on this altar, together with our material offerings for the ministry of the Church, we pray to the Lord…

For all who have died, that where their love fell short in this life, may now be embraced by God’s mercy, that they may enter the fullness of Heaven, especially our parishioner, Chuck Amato, who died this week…

Celebrant: Loving Father, You are close to the humble. Hear us and draw us unto the power of Your Life, as we pray in Your Holy Name, through Christ our Lord.

R: Amen.
