Presider: We glory in the Cross of our Lord, Jesus Christ. It is a sacrament of hope and unconditional love. With confidence in the work of the Lord we make bold to petition the Father for our needs and praise.

5. That first responders, protective services, and medical personnel are strengthened in their work to heal and protect those in need, we pray...

6. That educators are blessed in their work by the presence of the Holy Spirit to work with students with patience and creativity, we pray...

7. That the forgotten, those in poverty, and the homeless are strengthened by the Suffering of Christ to find help and access to health care, we pray...

Presider: Father, through the suffering and glory of the Cross we have been liberated from slavery to sin and misleading allures of the world. May truth and concerns for those suffering from violence and famine caused by war are soon resolved for the sake of the poor and starving. This we ask in the name of Jesus.
