Mini-reflections on the Sunday scripture
readings designed for persons on the run. "Faith
Book" is also brief enough to be posted in the
Sunday parish bulletins people take home.
From today’s Gospel reading:
(The Samaritans) said to the woman,
"We no longer believe because of your word;
For we have heard for ourselves,
And we know that this is truly the savior of the
Pope Francis has called us to be "missionary
disciples." The Samaritan woman’s "missionary
training" began with the face-to-face time she
had talking with Jesus, asking questions and
listening to his answers. She does, what the
Pope says "missionary disciples" are supposed to
do: listen to the Word of God and look for
opportunities to share it with others.
